Creme Fraiche

 

Mock Version:

 

1 C. sour cream        

2 TB sugar     

1 tsp  grated Ginger Root

Combine and use as topping on fruit

Real Creme Fraiche

 

 

1 C Whipping Cream                       

2 TB  Buttermilk

 

Combine and set in a clean covered jar overnight.  In the morning there is a lovely creamy topping with a slightly tart flavor.  Keeps in the refrigerator about 2 weeks.
